Being a celebrity, you have a hectic schedule with snapshots and appearances. What do you mean “my time”?
The only time I get it is when I go to groups and come back. Fortunately, my schedule wasn’t as crazy as the TV schedule. [Nowadays] It’s very organized, you get days off, and it tells you exactly when you have to be on set. It’s not like you come home sleep-deprived and go shooting again the next day. When I get [a few days off]I chose to spend that time at home with my mother, reading. But one has to do [cancel] All the noise and focus on something [else]. Even when I’m walking in the park, my YouTube always shows some documentaries or something else I like to watch.
Mental health is a widely discussed topic around the world. What are your thoughts on that?
During Ganpati, I went to see Ekta [Kapoor] Madam, you were the last person to arrive. I sat with her and she was talking about noise canceling. She told me how we cannot allow anything and everything to cross this barrier. It’s just [having] The [right] behavior position.
I see a lot of people stressing out at work and on social media. We are all digitally connected, and people seek to fit in with artificial things. I agree that it is important to work hard, to be ambitious. But you have to stop comparing yourself to others.
be it Rhodes Or whatever else I’ve done, I’ve always focused on my own journey. I like what Ekta Madam said about focusing on your peace and not letting anything and everything affect you. You cannot make others reasons for your happiness; You have to find it yourself.
Tell us about your physical health and diet…
I make sure I eat healthy food. I don’t eat unnecessary carbohydrates, fried things, or oily foods. I try to maintain a high protein diet and make sure there is plenty of power in my food. If I was somewhere, I would probably order the tandoori chicken, nothing greasy or oily. Most importantly, I try as much as I can to eat at home. I don’t believe in thesecrazy diets“I like eating balanced meals.
But you are a Punjabi and a big food lover too. What do you like to indulge in?
Butter Chicken But my mom started making excellent butter chicken without any butter! (Laugh) I love my flesh. I love my chicken. Outside food is greasy, but you can prepare the same at home. There’s nothing to give up, to be very honest, and I don’t feel heavy or groggy. Ghar Ka Khanna He is the best.
How do you start and end your day?
I get up and the most important thing I do is spend an hour sitting with my mum talking about who’s doing what. We have a family group chat, and we sit down and talk about what’s going on in the family. I think it’s the most beautiful thing in my life right now. And then I let my manager call me and it gave me anxiety. (Laugh) The first watch is very nice and simple. It gives me a lot of sanity, and I’d like to finish my day again [on this note]. Sometimes, I read a book or watch something before I sleep.
What does fashion mean to you? How would you describe your personal style?
I think my personal style is very quirky and edgy. All designers and designers love me for a reason. They’re like, “You wear what we ask you to wear and you own it.” For me, it wasn’t about the clothes I was wearing. I don’t put a lot of thought into it, and it makes me feel confident; But I’m not very confident.
Having said that, I’m not too shy to experiment [with my style]. You put me in flowers, I’ll wear them; You put me in blessings, I will carry it. Sometimes people think I’m making a statement. No. I statement.
What do you think of airport fashion?
When you are “slapped” at the airport, you can’t seem to be a mess. Even when there were no paparazzi, I used to be very spontaneous [about my airport look]. When you are going on a long private trip, you need to be comfortable. The kind of clothes I wear at the airport seem to be comfortable and cool looking at them. I love my oversized hoodie, athleisure, and my oversized shoes.
What are some other absolutes wardrobe staples for you?
Every man should have a perfect set of jeans. They should have plain white shirts, flannel shirts, hoodies, and oversized underwear. I don’t understand how people wear leather pants on long trips.
Will you have the biggest pet peeve?
I think the bullshit pisses me off. I am an honest person and when people try to take advantage of me, I find it very annoying. Don’t be dishonest [with me]. You can’t do a job – it’s okay. Don’t make excuses, I hate it. I like people who are honest in their things. When someone tries to act smarter with me, they don’t know that I’m smarter than them. I also don’t understand why people want to slander others all the time.
If you weren’t an actor, what would you be?
I am obsessed with geopolitics and diplomacy. And I think I would have done something in this area. I don’t want to become a politician, but world politics really interests me.
What can you tell us about some future projects and plans?
There are a lot of things in the pipeline. I’m excited about everything that’s going on, even though I don’t practice TV at the moment. I meet many interesting people who are passionate about what they do. It is a beautiful trip. I’ve been around for 13 years and that’s what I wanted. I don’t want to be the talk of the town, I’m happy to learn.
