Lifestyle medicine or lifelong medicine – choose wisely?

Most often, when the topic of preventive health care comes up, it is uncommon for an individual to say, “But I am a healthy individual.” Why should we invest in preventative wellness? Spending money on tests when I am asymptomatic does not make sense! It’s like wasting resources preparing for misfortunes that haven’t yet happened! ”

My advice to them is to sit back, relax, take a trip in memory and remember the old wisdom our school taught us – “Prevention is better than cure”.

Spending on health and wellness in a way that adds value to your living isn’t a cost, it’s an investment.

Preventive wellness is not just healthcare to treat disease, it is healthcare to prevent disease from appearing in the first place. Does this include only regular checkups? not at all. Holistic approaches include diagnosing and treating lifestyle diseases and making sustainable lifestyle changes.

It is easier for us to recover faster when we treat every organ in our body very carefully.

Also, it is very important to consider the quality of everyday products or groceries. Your lifestyle changes are also greatly affected by this.

Through integrative medicine, lifestyle, and holistic nutrition, food and lifestyle are powerful tools for relieving pain in people with serious illnesses and lifestyle-related illnesses. Unfortunately, the quality of the products available today is very questionable. Choosing chemical-free, organic, sustainably produced products from a fair market is of the utmost importance.

Conventionally raised animals can be fed antibiotics to prevent disease, making it easier for farmers to raise them under crowded or unsanitary conditions. There is evidence that these residues contribute to the spread of antibiotic resistance, the onset of early puberty, the growth of tumors, increased cancer risks, the risk of autoimmune diseases, and genetic problems. Organic meat, which is produced without antibiotics, is intrinsically safer in this regard.

Organic or ethically sourced foods contain higher antioxidants, higher levels of vitamins and minerals, and lower saturated fats than their conventional counterparts. It also helps maintain our ecosystem and also prevents us from contracting deadly diseases.

The selection of organic or ethically sourced products must be done with complete and valid knowledge. When buying organic food, go local to avoid potential pesticides.

Although organic foods and chemical-free products may cost more, it is always better to invest in preventative wellness rather than medication. The environment We deserve a healthier and more sustainable diet for an overall better lifestyle.
