A new set of videos, activities, and tools were funded by Walmart Foundation as part of Sesame Workshop Healthy habits for everyone Initiative
(New York, NY, May 23, 2022) – Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organization behind it Sesame Street, launches new bilingual resources to help families of all economic backgrounds promote healthy eating practices and increase nutritional knowledge – the ability to access and understand food and nutrition information. With the generous support of Walmart Foundation, Healthy habits for everyone Initiative Chef Lilly features, Sesame Street Muppet and Ambassador for Healthy Eating, promotes accessible ways for caregivers to help children develop healthy relationships with food, including meal planning strategies and preparing healthy, budget-friendly meals and snacks.
Sesame Workshop’s formative research findings reveal that COVID-19 and corresponding financial stresses experienced by families have made healthy foods more difficult for many.
